Purpose: Describe the clinical characteristics of high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and explore the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.Method: Review 50 inpatients' clinical data who were diagnosed CINII -CINIII from April 20th,2005 to January 20th,2006, in the Women's hospital of Medical school, Zhejiang University.Results: The average age of the 50 patients was 38.0 years old.48 cases of them coitus at an early age of 21.9-year-old averagely. 46.0% subjects complained of unusual discharge and 20.0% complained of irregular vaginal bleeding while 34.0% with no symptoms. 4.0% patients' cervix appeared grossly normal and 96% presented cervical erosion of various extents, with or without postcoital bleeding. 30.0% cases revealed abnormal cells among the 10 patients who took the Pap smear examination while the proportion is 90.0% among the 30 patients who took TCT procedure. 90.9% patients are infected by HPV virus, and 87.9% patients show the presence of high-risk HPV16, 18.After surgical procedure 60.0% cases remained consistent diagnosis as before the operation, 36.0% patients showed pathological diagnosis alleviated in severity, 4.0% showed a more severe diagnosis and among them one case was diagnosed carcinoma in situ. 42 cases were practiced LEEP procedure, 71.4% presented negative margin, 19.0% showed lesion positive on the margin, the pathological diagnosis was less severe than the first one if another operation is carried out.Conclusion: TCT(90.0%)is more sensitive than Pap smear(30.0%), 90% high-grade CIN victims are infected by HPV virus. LEEP should be the first choice in treatment, after the procedure if the pathological diagnosis show marigin positive, intensive follow-up is more suitable than a second surgical intervention.
