Objective: To observe the effect of epidemic growth factor(hEGf)combining with basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)on wound healing of thermal burn in rats'cornea .Methods: The models of severe cornea burn were induced with thermal metal in rats. All 80 rats were randomly dividedinto five groups. One group was used as control, the others as experiment. The three experiment groups received eye-drop of EFG alone, bFGF alone and the combined drop of them .Take cornea of the rats on the 16th and 22th day after the cornea of the rats had been thermal burned .Make the wholement of the cornea .The results were sttically analyzed by x-square test .Result:On the 16th day the effect rate of the first experiment group(bFGF)was 45%,the second group (bFGF+hEGF) 80%.The difference from the group3 to group1 was sign- ificant and so between group3 and group 2.On the 22th day, the effect rate of the group(bFGF+hEGF)was 90%.The combination topic had no significant difference between the using for 16 days and for 22 days .Conclusion: Ether hEGF or bFGF can accelerate the wound healing of thermal burn in rat cornea .The combination of them is more effect than they are used alone .But the effect of this combination has no obvious difference between 16 days and 22 days using.
