Objective To investigate the localization of primary auditory cortex by use of Magnetoencephalography between matched male healthy control subjects and male patients of schizophrenia with auditory hallucination by various prue tone frequency stimuli,and to explain the physiopathologic mechanism of auditory hallucination.Method 21 right handed participants were divided into two groups: study group(10 male patients schizophrenia with auditory hallucination) and control group(11 matched healthy subjects),All subjects were given 0.5,2,4,8 kHz stimuli of various frequency prue tone,90dB sound pressure level intensity,200ms persistent time,1 second interstimulus interval,and auditory evoked magnetic fields were recorded by MEG after stimulus,The data acquired by the MEG could be superimposed on MRI to obtain MSI.Results AEFs M100 was induced in all subjects after giving the binaurally stimuli,Primary auditory cortex was localized in the bilateral transverse temporal gyri in control group,but in study group,was localized in the outer of the transverse temporal gyri in the right hemispheric, and in the posterior-exterior-low part of superior temporal gyrus in the left hemispheric when compared with control group,There were significant difference between the two groups(p<0.50);M100 latency in study group 2KHz[(left 97.00±15.81)ms,(right 97.06±10.55) ms],4KHz[(left 93.00±12.92)ms,(right 99.24±14.09)ms]compared with control group 2KHz[(left 121.21±14.93)ms,(right 113.33±6.32) ms]),4KHz[(left 113.36±13.28)ms,(right 113.92±5.53)ms]were shortened in bilateral globe(P<0.05)and amplitudes in control group 2KHz[(left 73.46±12.36)fT,(right 79.09±13.00)fT]),4KHz[(left 81.03±9.17)ms,(right 107.55±14.26)ms]were increased in study group 2KHz[(left 89.40±10.57)fT,(right 118.21±36.72)fT],4KHz[(left 69.33±14.54)ms,(right 80.70±19.55)ms](p<0.50)conclusion There is different localization of primary auditory cortex between normal people and male patients of schizophrenia with auditory hallucination,also with shortened M100 latency and increased amplitudes in study group.These function and anatomical structure abnormality could be one of the physiopathologic mechanism of occurrence auditory hallucination with schizophrenia. Objective To investigate the localization of Chinese linguistic auditory cortex by use of Magnetoencephalography between normal people and male patients of auditory hallucination with schizophrenia with two Chinese words vocabulary stimuli,which was spoken by male and female respectively.Method 27 right handed participants were divided into two groups: study group(13 male patients of auditory hallucination with schizophrenia) and control group(14 healthy people),All subjects were given 100 pairs of two Chinese words stimuli(the meaning of the words was related or not related,and 80 percent words were the related meaning words), meanwhile the intensity was 80dB sound pressure level and one second interstimulus interval,and auditory evoked magnetic fields were recorded by MEG after stimulus,The data acquired by the MEG could be superimposed on MRI to obtain MSI.Results①10 subjects in control group whose linguistic auditory cortex was localized in the left posterior part of middle,superior temporal gyrus,as known to all the Wernicke region,2 subjects was localized in the right posterior part of middle temporal gyrus,others were in the bilateral posterior part of the superior temporal gyrus.②10 subjects' localization in study group was in the bilateral posterior part of middle,superior temporal gyrus and inferior frontal gyrus,2 subjects was localized in the right posterior part of inferior frontal gyrus,1 subject in the left posterior part of superior temporal gyrus.③The evoked magnetic waves by stimulus of sound of male and female had significant difference in x axis of localization triaxiality coordinate in center between the control group and the study group(p<0.05).④The percentage of localization in bilateral cerebral hemisphere in study group(76.92%)were higher than that in control group(14.29%),and there was statistical difference between two groups(p<0.05).Conclusion The localization of Chinese linguistic auditory cortex was different between the male patients of auditory hallucination with schizophrenia and normal people,the former's localization more near the outer part of middle,superior temporal gyrus,and this change maybe one of the neurotic physiopathologic mechanism about auditory linguistic cognition function disorder.
