| Objective: To explore the effect of the fructus on the genetic function of SD rats.Methods: 80 mature male rats were divide into 4 groups: the blank group,treated group with low dosage fructus,with middle dosage fructus and with high dosage fructus, Excluding blank group, the other three groups ' rats were all irrigated fructus , After 24 hours since the last treatment, the weight of testicle and epididymis of the rats was exanmined, serous testosterone and sperm routine were also detected, the microstructue of testicle was observed under optical microscope with BI200 computer configuration image analysis system.Rsults: The fructus could cut down the organ exponent of testicle and epididymis of the SD rats, density and motility rate of sperm of the rats , the contentserous testosterone decreased, seminiferous epithelium thinningzed, all kind of androgone,spermatogenous cell and sperm cell all decreased, testicular Leydig cell scarcely could been found, the number of contorted seminiferous tubules decreased, and its diameter shrunk.Conclusion: The fructus could damage thegenetic function of SD rats. |
