Fenge,Radix Pueraria thomsonii.It can expel evil from muscle,clear away the heat,dysentery of Heat type and hypertension and so on.This article estimate and research deeply the quality a variety of Fenge produced in Chongqing different area, combine the GAP base construction of Fenge in Chongqing Hechuan.For the first time using HPLC test the content of the main effective component in Fenge:puearin,daidzin,daidzein.Comparing with just using puearin single component as quality control index in Chinese Pharmacopoeias 2005,this article is more general and more trustiness to quality estimate and control of the powder arrowroot.We suggest puearin content of Fenge shouldn't under 0.3%according to the Pharmacopoeias standard,daidzin shouldn't under 0.05%,daidzein shouldn't under 0.02%.For Fenge in different producing area in CO,doing the mensuration of moisture, total ash,acid-insoluble,heavy metal and arsenic,and content testing to ethanol extracts.The result show its moisture and total ash accord with the Pharmacopoeias standard,and preliminary study out moisture shouldn't exceed 14.0%,total ash shouldn't exceed 5.0%and acid-insoluble ash shouldn't exceed 0.5%.The content of Cu,Pb,As in Fenge under the standard,but the content of Hg and Cd exceed the standard.It may be relate to the local planting environment.During the work in the future,we should enhance the research of the powder arrowroot heavy metal pollution. We study out the powder arrowroot according to its dryness shouldn't under 14%via mensuration of t ethanol extracts.Preliminary set up the HPLC fingerprint of Fenge in CQ.For the first time using HPLC fingerprint to semblance estimate the Fenge in different producing area in CQ, preliminary set up the isoflavones communion mode,reflect the powder arrowroot inner quality character entirely.For Fenge in different producing area in CQ,using UV and HPLC method to mensurate its total flavonoids,puearin,daidzin,daidzein,we found the highest total flavonoids content is in Xiaomian town,Hechuan,we consider the Xiaomian town is the best place for constructing the Fenge's GAP.For the first time research the character,TLC,menstruate the effective component content of a variety of Fenge,combine the needs of GAP base construction in Hechuan,we consider the Shaoge should be top-priority choose as the main planting breed.After systemic researching the dry materials accumulate change rule in different growth period and individual effective component accumulate dynamic change,we consider the best collect time to Fenge should in autumn and winter,accord with its traditional collect time.Considering the different process method in producing area affect the effective component of Fenge,we consider it should be dried at 40℃low temperature after wiping off its scarfskin.Draw the draft of quality standard of Fenge.Compared with Chinese Pharmacopoeias 2005,it has been added acid-insoluble ash,used puearin,daldzin and daidzein at the same time in TLC,used HPLC method to mensurate its puearin, daidzin,daidzein at same time and used UV method to mensurate total flavonoids in item of content mensuration.
