| Objective: To investigate the prevalence of anorectal diseases of pregnant women in the hospitals of Chengdu Plain and analyze the incidence of it and the severity of symptoms of the pregnant women in all ages during pregnancy and after delivery in order to find out whether the factors of pregnancies, the frequency of abortion, eating habits, the survival status, occupation, etc. are associated with it and the strength of its relevance.Methods: Information was collected through a questionnaire survey of 213 pregnancies. The datas of prevalence and morbidity of pregnant women suffering anorectal diseases in all ages, the morbidity of anorectal diseases during pregnancy, the deterioration after delivery will be analyzed by a single group of non-parametric test. And the incidence of anorectal diseases, influencing factors and the level of the effect will be analyzed by a logistic regression analysis.Results: The investigation from 213 pregnant women indicated that the morbidity rate of suffering anorectal diseases was 63.85%, in which 15.97% had got it before pregnancy, 56.98% got it after pregnancy or delivery. The most common symptom in anus and rectum during pregnancy or after delivery was pain of anus, and second was pruritus ani. The highest incidence occurred between 8 to 10 months after delivery, then 26 to 30 years old pregnancy, and then 1month after pregnancy. 70.59% pregnancy suffered from aggravated anus symptoms after pregnancy or delivery. The important factors for production and aggravation of anorectal diseases were length of pregnancy, the amount of alcohol intake, spicy food intake, childbirth mode.Conclusion: This investigation was applied in less-developed area with large rural population which can reflect the overall condition of Chengdu Plain. It showed that the high morbidity and incidence of anorectal diseases was closely relevant to the age, length of pregnancy and delivery mode. The result of logistic analysis demonstrated that length of pregnancy, the amount of alcohol intake, spicy food intake played an important role in producing and aggravating anorectal diseases, moreover childbirth mode was another influencing factor. Attention should be paid to the health of pregnant and delivered women in Chengdu Plain by relevant government departments. |
