Rehmannia Polysaccharide

We optimized the best extraction technique process of total polysaccharides of Radix Rehmanniae Preparata. by the technique process study. We got four polysaccharides ingredients A, B, C & D through DEAE-Cellulose DE-52 column chromatography.We compare the antioxidation of these four polysaccharides ingredients A, B, C & D through SOD and GSH-PX testing reagent. Results showed that A is better than the other three ingredients at cleaning out the O2-·and A has the efficiency of cleaning out the H2O2 ,but the other three ingredients can not.Ingredients A was purified through DEAE-Sephadex A-50 column chromatography. We obtain the ingredients called A'. It was testified that A'is an even polysaccharides by the Sepharose CL-6B column chromatography. To study the method for determination of the Radix Rehmanniae Preparata. total polysaccharide content and compare the contents of different Radix Rehmanniae Preparata.The results showed that polysaccharide contents of Radix Rehmanniae Preparata.in different habitats are different. The contents of the raw Radix Rehmanniae Preparata. is higher than the prepared one.
