Stagnation Qufeng Collaterals Treatment Of Migraine Clinical Studies

Background:Migraine is a common disease at the department of Nerve,which is usually classified into the category of"headwind","headache"or"headache due to reversion of channel qi"in Chinese medicine.Some researchs show that about 7.7%-19%adults have this disease,the adulthood male is 1%-19%,and the adulthood female is 3%-29%.Because this disease often repeated attack,it's influences people's life and work obviously.Modern medicine treat Migraine have a obvious progress,but it still has much side effect.On the contrary,our department use the chaishaozhitongfang which made by my department to treat Migraine,and got satisfied effects.With the guidance of her paper advisor,the author selects chaishaozhitongfang and observes the therapeutic effects,to prove it's curative effect.Objective:Observes the therapeutic effects of chaishaozhitongfang,supply reference for scientific research and clinic treatment in future.Methods: All the cases of migraine patients are collected at Nerve Department of Xi Yuan Hospital of China Academy of TCM.A total of 40 cases are observed,and finshed 38 cases.Random divided into two-groups,the test team gave them chaishaozhitongfang,2 times per day,the formulae composed by chaihu,baishao,baizhu,danggui,chuanxiong,qingfengteng,zhiqiao, gancao;the control group gave them flunarizine hydrochloride,5mg per night.Both two groups are treat for 2 weeks.Then observe the changes of patients' pain degree,traditional Chinese medicine symptom integral,time of headache appearance and seizure frequency,NRS.Results:Collected 40 cases and finshed 38 cases.The test team have 20 cases,the males are 3,females are 17,their age from 20 years to 62 years,their average age is 39 years;their course of disease from 1 year to 38 years, their average course of disease are 11.05 years.The control group have 18 cases,the males are 3,females are 15,their age from 19 years to 65 years,their average age is 42.6 years;their course of disease from 0.5 year to 28 years,their average course of disease are 9.19 years.After 2 weeks,the test team,2(10.0%) are cured,2(10.0%) respond withsignificant effects and 8(40.0%)have improvement in their symptoms and 8(40.0%) fail;the total effective rate is 60.0%;the control team, 3(16.7%) are cured,3(16.7%)respond withsignificant effects and 7(38.9%) have improvement in their symptoms and 5(28.7%)fail;the total effective rate is 72.2%.In addition,the time of headache disappearance pain degreeand,seizure frequency,NRS,traditional Chinese medicine symptom integral are remarkably reduced(P＜0.05),and there were no difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Each group had one side-effect caseappearsduring the treatments.Conclusions:Chaishaozhitongfang treat migraine can make patients'pain degree, traditional Chinese medicine symptom integral,time of headache appearance and seizure frequency,NRS remarkably reduce,and there are no difference between chaishaozhitongfang and flunarizine hydrochloride. Consider much side effect about flunarizine hydrochloride, chaishaozhitongfang is worth to use.
