Colorectal Cancer Syndrome Pathogenesis-related Tumor Markers In Clinical Studies

0bjectives:To study the relationship between colorectal cancer and tumor markers,we aimed to develop diagnosing colorectal cancer by carcinoembryonic antigen and CA242 .Methods:We use Chinese medicine theory and modern medicine,explore the relationship between etiology pathogenesis and differentiation of symptoms with philology and logic method.However,we compare fifty cases that the patients who have colorectal cancer and fifty cases that normal human with examination CEA and CA242 from 2006 May to 2007 August with immunohistochemistry method.Results:①Wet Hotness Stasis Toxin:in tumor primary,surrounding cancerous lymph and surrounding normal non- cancerous tissue,the positive rate of CEA was 95.00%,50.00% and 70.00%,While CA242 was 85.00%,25.00% and 40.00%.②Spleen Kidney Yang Deficiency:CEA in tumor primary,surrounding cancerous lymph and surrounding normal non- cancerous tissue,the positive rate of CEA was 70.00%,40.00% and 50.00%,while CA242 was 70.00%,20.00% and 30.00%.③Liver Kidney Yin Deficiency:in tumor primary,surrounding cancerous lymph and surrounding normal non- cancerous tissue,the positive rate of CEA was 60.00%,30.00% and 60.00%,While CA242 was 60.00%,20.00% and 40.00%.④Qi and Blood Deficiency:in tumor primary,surrounding cancerous lymph and surrounding normal non- cancerous tissue,the positive rate of CEA was 70.00%,40.00% and 60.00%,While CA242 was 70.00%,20.00% and 40.00%.⑤Colorectal cancer experiment group:in tumor primary,surrounding cancerous lymph and surrounding normal non- cancerous tissue,the positive rate of CEA was 78.00%,40.00% and 62.00%,While CA242 was 74.00%,22.00% and 38.00%.⑥Normal mucosa:the positive rate of CEA was 16.00%,while CA242 was 20.00% .⑦Statistics:CEA and CA242 were comparing with Wet Hotness Stasis Toxin tumor primary group and Spleen Kidney Yang Deficiency tumor primary group,Liver Kidney Yin Deficiency tumor primary group,Qi and Blood Deficiency tumor primary group,P<0.05;CEA and CA242 were were comparing colorectal cancer experiment group with normal human group,P<0.05.Conclusions:①colorectal cancer's differentiation of symptoms main symptom is Wet Hotness Stasis Toxin,and the main etiology is Wet Hotness Stasis Toxin.②CEA and CA242 can be used to judgement of colorectal cancer,so they are tumor markers with clinic value .
