Objective:1.To monitor the clinical therapeutic effect of TongJiang Shugetang decoction(TCM group)on patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease(GERD) of incoordination between the liver and stomach type and compare it with one control group:receiving TongJiang ShuGetang decoction and Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated Capsules and mosapride Capsules(Collaborative group). The evaluation of the curative effect is conducted at three levels:main symptoms, minor symptoms.2.To evaluate the long-term clinical effect, especially the recurrent rate,of the two different treatments.Monitor the recurrent rate of GERD after the suspension of treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks respectively.Method:Use RDQ,gastroscopes,PPI test,PH monitoring of esophago and integration questionnaire of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease(GERD) of incoordination between the liver and stomach type as diagnostic method. The approach adopted is simple randomization and comparison of control groups.Patients who haven't taken any PPI and H2RA medicine in the last month are randomly divided into TCM group and Collaborative group. The course of treatment is 4 weeks.Record the seriousness of recurrent symptoms and their frequencies through questionnaires to the patients before treatment and during the treatment.Revisit patients with follow-up questionnaire after the suspension of treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks respectively and gather relevant data on recurrences. Results:Both TCM group and Collaborative group are proved to be effective on the treatment of GERD.After one course of treatment, the total effective rate of TCM group is 96.7%,the total effective rate of Collaborative group is 96.7%,The TCM group and the Collaborative group have similar therapeutic effect(P=1.0000, P>0.05).The After two weeks treatment, the Collaborative group has a higher curative rate(52.6%) on the reflux side than the TCM group(14.3%),there is significant difference(P=0.033,P<0.05);the total effective rate on the reflux side of TCM group and Collaborative group is 92.8%/100%respectively,there is no significant difference(P>0.05).The Collaborative group also has a higher excellent rate(50.0%) on the acid reflux side than the TCM group(20.7%),there is significant difference(P=0.027,P<0.05);the total effective rate on the acid reflux side of TCM group and Collaborative group is 93.1%/100%respectively, there is no significant difference(P>0.05).The total effective rate of TCM group and Collaborative group on heartburn is 86.2%/82.7%respectively,both of two groups have similar therapeutic effect on heartburn(P>0.05).The total effective rate of TCM group and Collaborative group on non-cardiac chest pain is 84.7%/92.3%respectively,both of two groups have similar therapeutic effect on non-cardiac chest pain(P>0.05).After four weeks treatment, the total effective rate of TCM group and Collaborative group on reflux is 92.8%/100%respectively; both of two groups have similar therapeutic effect on reflux(P>0.05).The total effective rate of TCM group and Collaborative group on reflux acid is 93.1%/100%respectively;both of two groups have similar therapeutic effect on reflux acid(P>0.05).The total effective rate of TCM group and Collaborative group on heartburn is 79.3%/86.2%respectively;both of two groups have similar therapeutic effect on heartburn(P>0.05).The total effective rate of TCM group and Collaborative group on non-cardiac chest pain is 92.3%/92.3%respectively; both of two groups have similar therapeutic effect on non-cardiac chest pain (P>0.05).The relapse rate of Collaborative group after suspension of treatment for 2 weeks is 43.3%,which is higher than TCM group(16.7%)(P=0.047,P<0.05).And the relapse rate of Collaborative group after suspension of treatment for 4weeks is 51.9%,which is still higher than TCM group(19.2%)(P=0.021,P<0.05).The relapse rates of TCM group after 2weeks and 4 weeks are similar(P=0.600, P>0.05).The relapse rates of Collaborative group after 2weeks and 4 weeks are similar(P=1.000,P>0.05)Conclusion:TongJiang Shugetang is quite effective in treating GERD.The Collaborative group has the higher therapeutic effect of reflux and acid reflux in short time(about two weeks),but they can not rise the therapeutic effect further in long time(about four weeks),and has higher recurrence rate after stopping the treatment. The TCM group has the lower therapeutic effect short time(about two weeks),but the therapeutic effect is stable and rise steadily in long time(about four weeks),and lower recurrence rate after stopping the treatment. The TCM and Collaborative groups have the same therapeutic effect on treating hearburn and non-cardiac Chest pain.
