| Outbreaks and epidemics of disease is focus in preventive medicine and disease control, however, it's difficulty and important to control disease outbreaks due to complexity of epidemic situation. In the current, it remains traditional method to response disease outbreaks, shortage of epidemiology database of disease, the collection and analysis of data is also not standard. Diagnosis and control method on disease mainly depend on people's experience, and need more time. In order to meet the needs of epidemics,to assist professional people to field investigation and control disease epidemics, the project have been carried out to developed the system based on handheld computer, on the basis of the study on standard of case investigation questionaire and discrimination model.Because the questionnaire for epidemics is in a great mess, we arranged case investigation questionnaire and developed data dictionary of questionnaire, which will be provided standard for exchanging and sharing of data.Discrimination model has been set up to discriminate infectious disease based on epidemical and clinical database of infectious disease, then ameliorated and evaluated the model. The application of discrimination model will avoid the mistake of diagnosis on infectious disease.The database is core and basis of information system, so construction of database is priority in the study. According to the needs of infectious disease diccrimination, design the database and collect data for discriminating the infectious disease. According to the needs of knowledge in epidemic response, epidemiologic, clinical and laboratory data of infectious disease have been collected, and pathogenic microorganism data, Relative policies, regulations and images about tissue change caused by infectious disease also have been collected.On the basis of theory study, we developed field epidemiological investigation and analytical system for epidemics by using epidemiological and statistical method, information technology, with module of electronic investigation questionnaire, data analysis, discrimination diagnosis and knowledge query. The system is practical with many functions, and easy to maintenance, so it can be used as a tool of professional staff in the epidemic response. |
