The Impact Of Aprotinin On The Pig Endocrine Hormones And Cytokines In Surgical Stress

Objective To discuss the effect of aprotinin on stress hormone and cytokine during operation in pig.Methods 26 pig undergoing liver transplantation donor operation were randomly divided into two groups(n= 13):aprotinin group and control group.Aprotinin were administrated 2000000KIU iv before tracheal intubation,and 500000KIU/h ivgtt during operation in aprotinin group.The contents of adrenocorticotrophic hormone(ACTH),corticosteriod (COR),glucagon,interleukin - 6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor(TNF) were measured and analyzed at following points:before tracheal intubation;before surgery starting; 30min after surgery starting;before heparinization.Results Plesma levels of the above - mentioned were not different between two groups,while,at later various times ACTH, COR,glucagon,IL-6 in aprotinin group were significantly lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).The contents of TNF were not different between two groups.ConclusionAprotinin may decrease releasing of stress hormone and cytokine after trauma and stabilize inner circumstance.
