Diffuse Axonal Injury (dai) And Prognosis, And Myelin Basic Protein (mbp) Content

Objective The relation between change of content of myelin basic protein (MBP) in serum and CSF of the patient with different degree of DAI and the prognosis were studied,and their relationship will prospective guide on the judge of the clinical prognosis of diffuse axonal injury.Methods All of 46 patients were selected from March, 2007 to December, 2008 period JiamusUniversity attached first hospital DAI in hospital after the wound first day, 3-5th day, the 9-10th day, gathers venous blood 4ml and CSF 5 ml. and health control(HC) include 20case that were collected from the healthy blood in morning and CSF that were collected from the selective operation patients using enzyme linked immune-absorbent assay.The prognosis of DAI was devided into bad ,the worse ,the better 3 groups .Results It was demonstrated through this test result::①The content of MBP in serum and CSF were elevated while the extent of elevations of MBP were correlated with the extent of DAI , and significantly difference were found between DAI and HC (P<0.05 ).②Rise level of MBP and damage extent of DAI and the short-term prognosis of DAI will be related(P<0.05 ). Its correlation coefficient is r=-0.895Conclusion In wound latter 10 days, in three group of patient's blood serums and CSF MBP obviously elevates, and achieves the high point in the 3-5th day, in DAI damage heavier patient blood serum and CSF the density is higher. In the blood serum and CSF the MBP level will elevate the scope and extent of damage of DAI, the short-term prognosis is closely related.
