The primary peremeter in this study are:the time of onset, the time of last vescile formation, the time of crust formation, and the duration of pain. The secondary parameter was the WHOQOL-100 form. The clinical data were loading into SPSS 17.0 for analysis. RESULTS:The ountcome of the treatment in both groups were assessed with the form prvided in appendix 2. G1 has shown 99.6% efficacy whereas G2 has shown 88.0% efficacy. CONCLUSION:G1 (Chinese medicine combine with standard medication) in treating HZ on HIV-1(+) patients shows statistically significant improvement (P<0.01) thanG2 (by using standard HZ medication alone).
