Objective:To investigate the feasibility and security of sevoflurane combined with propofol in deliberated hypotension for nasal endoscopic surgery(NES).Methods:Forty patients ASA classⅠorⅡundergoing NES were randomly divided into two groups with 20 cases each. The patients in group II were given deliberate hypotension and those in groupⅠwere not. During operation, the sevoflurane concentration of groupⅡwas gradually increased to keep MAP between 65 and 75 mmHg. Blood loss, operation duration, ECG, SpO2, MAP and HR were recorded before operation (T0), at 30 min after incisiono (T1),10 min after operation (T2). Investigate the change of ECG during operation. At the end of operation, blood gas analysis was performed. Results:Compared with To, MAP in groupⅡdecreased significantly at T1 (P<0.01), and returned at T2. MAP descended more significantly in groupⅡthan that in groupⅠat T1. No significant difference was founded between the both groups in HR at all time points. Blood loss and operation duration of groupⅡwere markedly less than those in groupⅠ(P<0.05). Blood gas value was normal and no arrhythmia or myocardia ischemia occurred in the two groups. Conclusion:Deliberate hypotension with sevoflurane combined with propofol can effectively reduce the blood loss and short operation duration in the patients undergoing NES.
