Acupuncture Combined With Experimental Studies Of The Treatment Of Kidney Ovulation Disorder Infertility In Rats

Objective:The research focuses on stimulating ovulation by both acupuncture and herbal formula therapy applying on SD rat model of kidney deficiency and ovulation inhibition type with the basis of obvious clinical effect. This research would make sense in finding the mechanism as well as the best combining site and therapeutic schedule of acupuncture combined with herbal formula therapy for female infertility treatment on ovulation inhibition.Method:SPF SD female rats, kidney deficiency and ovulation inhibition type made by Hydroxyurea as object of study, divided into 5 groups at radom:model+acupuncture, model+acupuncture+herbal formula, model+herbal formula as groups for treatment, model group and control group. Half rats of each of the 3 groups for treatment are taken to be with male rats seperately on the 6th day after treatment and on the first 15th days, rats which are not with male rats are killed in asepsis condition, take the blood of them and measure blood-serum sex hormones and take out the male rats in cage on the same day. After 7 days those rats had been with male rats are killed in asepsis condition, blood-serum sex hormones is measured, after dissected send those rats'overy and utrus to pathologic finding stored in 10%formalin. Put down the number of rats'embryo of pregnant rats.Results:1. Model rats after intragastric administration with Hydroxyurea show symptoms of kidney deficiency and spleen deficiency.2. After being needled points:Guanyuan(RN4), Zhongji(RN3), Zigong (uterus extra)and Shenshu(BL23) with electricty stimulation combines (or not)with herbal formula for tonifying kidney,those model rats'symptoms of kidney deficiency can be relieved.3. After being needled points:Guanyuan(RN4), Zhongji(RN3), Zigong(uterus extra)and Shenshu(BL23) with electricity stimulation combines (or not)with herbal formula for tonifying kidney, those model rats'mature follicle ovulation is enhenced also the preganacy rate and the number of embryo are increased. 1) After treatment model rats which have not been with male rats'blood E2 average result shows:herbal formula group is higher than both acupuncture group and acupuncture+herbal formula group but only comparison between acupuncture group and herbal formula group has statistical significance.2)After treatment model rats which have not been with male rats'blood LH average result shows:acupuncture group is higher than other two treatment groups, but comparison between those groups has no statistical significance.3) After treatment model rats which have not been with male rats'blood FSH average result shows no statistical significance.4) After treatment model rats which have been with male rats'blood E2 and P average result shows no statistical significance.5) After treatment model rats which have been with male rats'blood B-HCG average result shows:treated groups and control group are higher than model group, in which acupuncture group is higher than hebalformula group and acupuncture+herbal formula group but only comparison between acupuncture group and model group has statistical significance.Conclusion:1. Model rats can be successfully made after intragastric administration with Hydroxyurea when those rats show symptoms of kidney deficiency.2. After being needled points:Guanyuan(RN4), Zhongji(RN3), Zigong(uterus extra)and Shenshu(BL23) with electricty stimulation combines (or not)with herbal formula for tonifying kidney, those model rats'symptoms of kidney deficiency can be relieved and mature follicle ovulation is enhenced while preganacy rate and the number of embryo can be increased.3. After treatment all rats'blood hormoens average result show no statistical significance; it shows after model has been successfully made the overy reserve capacity of rat of model group has the tendency to recover by itself.
