Objective combing nursing teachers and students'reorganization and evaluation to investigate preview clinical practice conditions of undergraduate nursing students and find the influence factors.This research intends to clear the condition of undergraduate students'knowledge construction in preview clinical practice and offer reference for effective preview clinical practice.Methods By means of a questionnaire 342 undergraduate nursing students and 70 teachers who were volunteers and had preview clinical practice teaching experience from three nursing colleges in Shandong province were surveyed. The questionnaire was self-designed and was guided by constructivism.Which has four dimensions in teacher,student,organization and effects of preview clinical practice to investigate the preview clinical practice condition of nurse students.The questionnaire was authorized to have good face validity by several professors. Its content validity is also good, and the Content Validity Index(CVI)is 0.895.The test-retest reliability is 0.797. And the Cronbach's=0.902, it means the questionnaire has good equivalence reliability. All the date was analyzed by using the SPSS13.0. Date processing made using T test, F test, test one-way ANOVA and multiple stepwise regression analysis done by the software, respectively.Results the results of statistic description is(1)Evaluated by nursing students the undergraduate nurses'preview clinical practice condition scored(3.37±0.40),and the dimension of teacher(3.27+0.56),and that of student(3.52±0.51)and organize (3.08±0.46)and effect of preview clinical practice (3.58±0.46).(2)Evaluated by nursing teachers the undergraduate nurses'preview clinical practice condition scored (4.05±0.45),and the dimension of teacher(4.41±0.48),and that of student(3.85±0.49) and organize (3.69±0.53)and effect of preview clinical practice (4.19±0.50). Compare nursing student's score with nursing teachers in dimensions of teacher student,organization and effect of preview clinical practice, separately by using paired-t test.The difference of the four dimensions was all significant notably. In the results evaluated by nursing students, the average scores for different genders, different place in preview clinical practice had statistical significances.In the results evaluated by nursing teachers, the average scores for different genders, education conditions, titles of their post has no statistical significances.Person correlation analysis showed that the variables which had intimate relationship to the effect of preview clinical practice were teacher,student,organization. Separately, the relationship coefficient is 0.649,0.652,0.666,(P<0.000).Three dimensions'correlation with effect of preview clinical practice was notably significant. The major influence factors determined by Multiple regress analysis showed in the results of students' self-evaluation were teacher,student and organization dimensions and were leading,initiative,compliant levels.Analysis among dimensions, organization could explain 44.2% of the variance in the condition of effect of preview clinical practice, and among levels,44.7% were explained by leading. Meanwhile, in the results of teachers' self-evaluation were teacher and organization were showed among dimensions and were duties and organization in levels, in further, organization explained 72.2% of the variance.Conclusion The effect of clinical observation over the basically level and a part of which reaching the aim the significant reorganization and fusion of old and now knowledge, but yet still need to be improved. So teachers should play better roles in leading students study initiatively in clinical observation,make students become the real protagonist of studying. Colleges and hospitals should give more supportive help for clinical observation teaching such as by coordinated and optimum organization; training teachers for better teaching conscious and method to improve the quality of clinical observation; finally, teachers should pay great attention to guide student study more positively make they become the real studying protagonist.
