Objective Professor Liu Jingsheng with posterior double-door laminoplasty for treatment of cervical spinal canal volume improvement and clinical efficacy. Methods A retrospective study from December 2006 to March 2010 during the double-door with a posterior cervical laminoplasty for treatment of 15 patients with cervical spinal cord of patients. Before and after surgery by CT of the lesion volume segment of the spinal canal measured to observe the two-door operation to improve the rate of the average canal volume. JOA score by summing up two-door operation posterior cervical cancer. The patients were followed up 15 cases, mean follow up of 18 monthsResultsThe results of 54 segments made by cervical spinal canal volume expansion rate of 58.7% on average. Clinical improvement rate of JOA score was 77.1%. Clinical assessment: excellent in 9 cases, 60%; good in 3 cases, 20%; 2 cases, 13.3%; poor in 1 case, 6.7%. 80% good, 93.%Conclusion Posterior cervical double-door laminoplasty can expand the spinal canal volume, early surgery can achieve significant clinical efficacy.
