Deposited Chest Cataplasm Treatment Of Pneumonia Asthma Efficacy And Skin Tolerability Of Clinical Studies

Objective: To observe the curative effect on child pneumonia with different causative agents and syndrome in TCM, in addition to the conventional treatment, Fuxiong cataplasm was used to adjunctiveMethod: The internalized 40 cases pneumonia children who met the diagnosis criterion were randomly divided into experiment group (20 cases) and control group (20 cases) by single-blind randomized method. The experiment group (Fuxiong cataplasm group) used elementary treatment with Fuxiong cataplasm; The control group (Fuxiong powder) used elementary treatment with Fuxiong powder. Observe the therapeutic efficacy and cutaneous reaction after 7 days including the average extinction time of clinical symptoms in TCM and satisfaction of parentsResults:1.Satisfaction survey :treatment group show satisfaction highly ,but the treatment group viscosity excessive, the time of sticking..2.Skin reactions: treatment group have 2 of cases flushing,1 of cases rash .contrul group have 5 of cases flushing ,2 of cases rash ,1 of cases swelling .3. The total effective rate of treatment group was 70% with the 90% in control group;4. According to results of four main symptoms in child pneumonia, the effective rates of cough and sputum accumulation in treatment group were 63.16% and 56.25%, while the control group was 100%, the average extinction time of two symptoms in control groups was shorter than treatment group with significant difference (P<0.05), which means the Fuxiong cataplasm was not superior to the Fuxiong powder in relieving cough and resolving phlegm, and there was no significant difference in pyretolysis, relieving wheeze and eliminating rale. The total effective rate of symptoms in TCM in treatment group was 75% , while the control group was 100% with no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion: The curative effect of Fuxiong cataplasm in child pneumonia was not superior to Fuxiong powder.
