Spatial Orientation, Gender Differences In Research

Gender differences in spatial ability has been the concern of many research, The result is still controversial. Especially in terms of spatial orientation, slightly less than the areas of other research, there really gender differences on this issue is not consistent with the conclusion. Moreover, research in this area is limited to humans, while cross-species comparison of lower animals is still in the blank stage. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to prove the validation on gender d differences in human spatial cognition research results, and to discover whether the lower animals has the spatial orientation on gender differences.we use rat for the animal experiment.The results found that:configuration change or remove the tag will produce gender differences. This shows that the process of gender orientation in space us using a different way finding strategies:men use more architecture strategies, women use more tag strategy. This is consistent with previous studies.In rat experiments, we found the results of similar results with human. In fact, rats similar to human, the task of changing the configuration of the task more than the removal of markings difficult to complete. On the other hand, from the major rese research indicators, we did not find gender differences in humans as in rats. This i is perhaps due to human and lower animals, gender differences in spatial orientati-on lead to different. Delighted that we in some experimental data, or can be foun -d in rats in a way thatreflects the gender differences. Therefore, we can say that t-he body has been found in rats of some spatial orientationon gender differences, this difference should exist in lower animals.
