Vocal pedagogy as a synonym, is of great practicality in vocal teaching and vocal learning . This thesis is based on Xi'an Conservatory of Music Vocal Associate Professor Liao Jianbing's music teaching, which is taken as research object, through my seven years following with teacher Liao's learning, according to my own sentiment by teacher Liao's teaching methods, to study, summed up the vocal teaching methods of Professor Liao Jian Bing.Singing is an expression of human emotion, she is based on the voice of people, and the full support with breath, by the language assistance,is better than any other art form.Professor Liao Jianbing's teaching methods are quite scientific. The methods of vocal performance are teacher Liao's summary with nearly 30 years teaching experience. The thesis is divided into introduction, ChapterⅠthe source of Bel Canto, ChapterⅡessentials of singing, chapterⅢartistic expression in the singing and conclusion. By analysising professor Liao Jianbing's teaching methods in these parts,I'd like to offer useful reference materials for the singer and myself.Professor Liao emphasis especially on two problems during his teaching, the first is breath, the secend is the combination of real tone, falsetto and mixed chorus.Air is essential for our survive, without which we have no normal life. The breath during singing is also impotant.Professor Liao has several effective methods of breath training, which has been introduced in the main text."the combination of real tone, falsetto and mixed chorus is what you have to do before opening mouth."which offen appears in class, also showing how important of the mixed chorus in vocality skill.I will introduce it in detail later.
