The stylist in modern era should become designs the proper direction which are convenient, health and fine.However, most of stylist have been pursuing personal style, economic benefit, external form and artistic effect, and consequently ignoring more important things, such as the service objects, aesthetic quality, functions and cost of productions now. Market, economic, consumption and profit have been became key words with the development of our society. And thus, market competition, economic benefits, and visual impacts have been became vital goals of design. Accordingly, the functions of design to maintain moral, ethics have been weakening inevitably, treating human values with indifferently.My paper aims at rethinking these problems profoundly in the development of design,attempts under the contemporary society's big background, to designs the values question carries on the thorough ponder in the social reforming process.Fundamentally, the construction of the contemporary Chinese design values should be the moral, harmonious and interest, and accordingly, emphasizing these key words. Our objective is to correspond modern design with esteem needs, to remedy the neglect of humanities, surroundings and individuals by commercialize and indentical of design. The positive thinking to the orientation of design in future should be the way which is more healthy, reasonable, well-organized and sustainable. The way, I think, may be provided an valuable background to the common design plight, which ignores human beings. At last, it points out that value orientation of design, which may unified economic benefits, environmental benefits and social benefits in people-oriented way.The paper divides into four parts were discussed. The aim of the first part is to introduce the creation, the history of development and the present situation of the design. At the same time, with the base of Maslow Theory, this part also analyses different principle of design in history. Of course, to analyse these being ignore culture and moral is important in commercialized background, too. What this part aim is to put forward for launch.The second part of the paper provides the four principles adhered to the principles, which social values are changed with the development of society. The first principle is to make moral be its ideas leading. The second is to make harmonious idea as its spirit.the comprehensiveness and differences in culture is the third one. To pay attention on the needs of audience, which is beyond functions, is the forth. The third part provides theoretical guide for the application of the new values in the design practice which apply for two philosophical concepts, self-discipline and heteronomy. On the one hand, it asks stylist and trader to control their behavior with self-discipline. On the other hand, it is necessary for them to practice new value with' heteronomy. This provides double guarantee. The fourth part is to discuss new value in design from two parts:the first one is its academic significance of discipline construction; the second one is the realistic significance which guides the value of the whole society.
