Melville,Herman, is an Romantic writers in the United States In the nineteenth centuriy. The content of his novel "Moby Dick" is rich and complex, far-reaching implication, causing the concern of many researchers. My thesis taking Nietzsches aesthetics to interpret the novel.I think the novel has many echoes of Nietzsches aesthetics,mainly in Apollo and Dionysus,Nietzsches Dualistic theory , Dionysian world view and the view of will to power,as well as the Critical views of Nietzsche.reflected in the novle. the article will discusses from the three angles above,In the first part, Ill analyze the reflection of Nietzsches Dualistic theory from the "dream" of the Apollo and the "drunk"of the Dionysus. In the second part,To Ahab as the focus, Ill focus on the analysis of Ahab represents a powerful world views of Dionysus and views of will to power.The third part, from the Christian morality, science and reason, etc., to discuss the novels criticism of modern civilization.,and Nietzsches revaluation of all values and views.
