For the ambiguity of lexical ambiguity resolution process, involving multiple levels of language understanding, or even a few of the important cognitive psychology, the theoretical debate. Therefore, an important psycholinguistic lexical ambiguity research is the process of ambiguity resolution. Today, we are accustomed to on the process of lexical ambiguity resolution has continuously into two parts:the lexical meaning access and integration. In these two processes, the major theoretical argument is, how the effects of context effects and word frequency and lexical meaning access work stage is working.Around this issue, there are five significant an impact on the theoretical model of lexical ambiguity resolution:multiple access model, select access model, order-access model, recorded access model and context-sensitive model. The first multi-access model that context and word frequency of these two factors can directly affect the processing of ambiguous words; choice access model that is accessible context to guide readers to the appropriate meaning of ambiguous words; and sequential access model is that the relative significance of frequency of words Work; last two models that context, the relative significance of the frequency of ambiguous words are digestion, but the role and importance of different ways.Meanwhile, the rise of cognitive neuroscience, psychologists begin to focus on the relationship between brain and language cognition, the brain functional asymmetry in the two hemispheres, the two hemispheres of the language processing system is becoming the focus of psychology and linguistics to explore questions. At present, two hemispheres of the brain in terms of the language mechanism, mainly phonetic based. The Chinese characters as ideograms, is different from the phonetic system, therefore, the two hemispheres of the brain in Chinese studies, to add to the understanding of language researchers. The research on the language mechanism of the brain hemispheres contributes to further understanding of the complex relationship between brain and language. The present study investigated lexical ambiguity resolution in Chinese·the results showed that both context and meaning frequency play a role in lexical ambiguity resolution.
