Qinxin Tian is one of the few female directors in the history of contemporary Chinese drama.1997's "broken wrist" let her make a figure in the theatrical world; 1999's "Life and Death", an adaptation of the novel of the same name from the works of Hong Xiao won a brilliant prize and reputation for her within the industry, it also established her place in the history of contemporary theater. Her deep grounding in classical literature and drama created a complex, ambiguous and choreographic space with unity of form and spirit, based on absorbing the essence of western modern drama. After that, the advent of each Qinxin Tian's opus let her gain win-win situation in art and business. Nowadays, Tian's dramatic style was gradually formed and well known with numerous "Tian fans" at the same time.Drama is an ancient art, after Aristotle proposed the tragedy "purification" in ancient Greece, Drama like Literature, has a responsibility to pass human science and spirit, and takes this as its ultimate goal of development. Qinxin Tian uphold the drama is human learning of ancient and sacred proposition, expressed sorrow for the cruel way of drama, asked contemporary lost soul and humanity of people. Whether it is theory that man is an integral part of nature in traditional cultural of Western, or different thought of Heaven in ancient China, human survival and development is a unavoidable eternal proposition at every age. For on the stage mulation of the theory of gender is the better implementation of human development based on common development of two gender. "Gender" refers to temperament and gender roles belong to male or female formed under the long-term social cultural and system, this is not between men and women from the physical, but by social and cultural causes, and can be changed misconceptions. Qinxin Tian using woman's peculiar exquisite and insight, created a number of graceful image of women on the stage, under the banner of common practice of the Human Spirit, social gender theory as a starting point to interpret Qinxin Tian's drama, indeed have a different taste in the heart.This paper is divided into five sections, introduction, three chapters and conclusion. Introduction mainly introduces the drama created by Qinxin Tian, its place and significance in the contemporary history and the original intention and theme of this paper. The first chapter briefly discusses the sources and development performance of gender theory, illustrates the potential for dramatic interpretation of Qinxin Tian focusing on human development. The second chapter elaborated on the redeemed elegy of women and writing of castrated men, and sad expression of the cruel drama under this in the basis of gender theory. Chapter Three, "ambiguity" is the breakthrough point, to tease out the Qinxin Tian's dislocation on gender identity and variation of gender discourse, at the time of expressing deep sympathy for men, it highlights the theme and content of the spirit of her "Human Studies" in drama. In conclusion, on the basis of summing up the full text, it reviews the Qinxin Tian's diligent practice "for life's drama" and "for the drama of life" on the stage.
