Aesthetics, Faith, Consumption Staggered: Fantasy Novel To Accept The Effect Analysis

There are many factors when it comes to the theory of literary reception. This thesis takes fantasy fiction for example, analyzes the literary reception of which from three aspects:estheticism, faith, and consumption three factors; studies the relationship within the three factors.The first chapter reveals the role faith plays in fantasy fiction by analyzing specific text, and holds further research on the manner of evolution about faith factor by taking the fantasy fiction Night Watch for example. The second chapter analyzes the concept of "the second world" by taking Spirited Away as an example, studies the "anti-magic" factor in the magic world. Chapter three discuses the relationship of literary consumption and literary reception; explains the interaction between fantasy fiction, fantasy movies, and fantasy games by taking Harry Potter series for example.The fourth chapter comprehensively analyzes the interactive function of estheticism, faith, and consumption three in literary acceptance, draws the conclusion:estheticism and faith are closest to the spirit of acceptor, consumption factor is the external stimulus; estheticism and consumption can be nurtured in reading impulse, but the faith is relatively stable. In one word, estheticism leads acceptor to pleasure, when faith leads acceptor to stability, and consumption suppose the turning point of the acceptance process. Therefore, the conclusion of the paper demonstrates the problems in the reception aesthetic while making introspection of it.
