The Linxian Three Interlocution Study

This thesis describes and discusses some features about the Lin county sanjiao dialect, Shanxi. The first chapter describes the phonetic system, its features and some phonological features of sanjiao dialect. The second chapter is about a word list of monosyllables and special words. The third chapter discusses two main grammatical features and the usage of some auxiliary words, personal pronouns; and analyses some features of the word formation. The last chapter is about the features of Shuoshu(Sanxian shu).The author uses some linguistic materials in the writing. Lin county Shuoshu keeps a lot of vernacular and idioms. Refined by the folk artists, the language of Shuoshu shows the features of efined? but it still manifests some characteristics of Lin county dialect.
