We collected data of 17 classrooms teaching Chinese as a second language through observation and want to determine:whether learners' communicative competence development in different classroom types ( high interaction/low interaction ) differ and how it is affected by teachers' actions and learners' participation , so as to assess teachers' actions and learner's participation and to improve classroom efficiency and to develop learners' communicative competence better and more rapidly in the end.
