After selecting the essence in ideologies of predecessors, and summing up his distinctive experience, Wang Yangming realized Yangming Idealist School. Enlightened by Zhu-Zhang academic lecturing, he went to Gui Zhou, and set his mind on academic lecturing. After realizing why it should be so in Long Chang, Wang founded and took advantage of academies to propaganda his idea: Before Long he was engaged in official career, and adopted the model of academic lecturing. Because of lecturing in his official residence, in mountains and rivers, or on in the temple, he pushed Yangming Idealist School forward. In his home town, Wang gave lecturing and developed his ideas for six years. As Yangming Idealist School becoming ripe, a group of scholars, which believed his ideas, formed around Wang, and so founded Yangming Academic School.Wang was not only a thinker, but a great educator. His academic ideas were spred as he taughted and educated. He accumulated a rich wealth of experiences in those academic lectures, and spred his valuable thoughts of education. But he held the ideas that for example, "to learning to become a sage", "the best study from self understanding", "the unity of knowing and acting". His education thought is consistent with the his academic idea. Prospering Ming Academies saw the formation of Wang's educational thoughts.In Primecal Ming, Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism had become rigid, the imperial examinations went so rotten, and the official school was empty in contents. Yang Ming Idealist School was the produce of the internal reforms of So-Ming of Neo-Confucianism, and it continually reformed both the academic thought and academies. Under the influence of both Yangming Idealistic School and Yangming Academic School, Ming Academies were incessantly revolutionized in the academic goals, the teaching method and the academic research, then full of vigor and vitality, and were prospering in the history of the Chinese Academies once again. Therefore, this thesis picks up of Yangming Idealistic School, and looked into the deep causes of Ming Academic prosperity, which are of great significance for the culture of academy.
