Musical Formation, Development And Singing Style

Musical is a kind of independent musical drama which collects the character of other kinds of arts. For the bypass one hundred years, the musical has developed quickly and spread to all over the world, and become the compelling art of the twenty century's music area. Musical is formed from the comedy and operette which derived from the classical opera, and also absorbed broadly the factors from the jazz, country music, rock roll and modern dance etc. Based on that, the musical becomes a kind of all-round stage art, and the base form in which drama is the basis, the music is the dominant, and dance is the important representation. In the first chapter of the dissertation, the definition of musical is introduced, the evolution history of the musical is ascended, the future as an all-round stage art having the character of popular culture is showed, and at last, the issues of its spreading and developing in China. And the second chapter, the sing style of the musical is studied, and the reason of its multi-sing-style is discussed from the points of the theme and content, art character, type, form, culture character, and the sending of vocality etc.Although, the dissertation about musical is only focusing on normally research because of my limited knowledge on this theme, the discuss is only the surface of the musical, and there is already disputed problem on the musical in the academic area, I still hope it will get the attention of experts and scholars, and the researching and creating on musical get the healthy and right development.
