The fictions with family motif in modern have uniform narrative form. The family emotions underlying national collective consciousness and the social situation of transforming times decide that family stories are unified and repeated. The formal mechanism of modern family stories has close relation with narrators andnarrative impetus. "Other" factors that force into family space have provided with narrative impetus for family stories, and stimulate family members to let out potential energy. The collision of potential energy forms three main conflict. As a result, the members possessing "other" factors have won over others.Part three: the narrative models of modern family fictions. The general narrative model of modern family fictions is "narrative of besieged city" which decides the identical features of deep structure and main narrative clue. "Narrative of besieged city" includes three elemental narrative models: historical allegorical model, holographic portrait model, and individual soulful historical model.Part four: decoding narrative discourses of modern family fictions. The narrative models and the themes of family fictions have close relation with the discourse systems taking part in texts, which include western discourses, political discourses and classical family discourses.
