Liu Yuxi was a famous literature and philosopher in Middle Tang Dynasty.His poem and article had the same fame with Bai Juyi and Liu Zongyuan.The discussion on the nature,his works on the philosophy, which advanced "the nature and the human contain each other",had important status in the history of the ideology.Because that,Liu Yuxi's poems show special appearance unimportant with other poets on Middle Tang Dynasty.This paper will try to study the characteristic of Liu Yuxi's poems and analysis the forming reason and the effect in order to open out status of Liu Yuxi.There are four chapters.The first and the second one analysis the forming reason of Liu Yuxi's poem's charcacteristic by discussing the environment in Middle Tang Dynasty and his experience,personality. The third one which describes the poem's theory, producing and the style is the important part of the paper. The fourth one briefly discusses the effect that Liu Yuxi's poem on the aftertime. The last part posts the speciality of Liu Yuxi's poem through comparing Liu and other poets on the idea.It also points Liu Yuxi's station on Middle Tang Dynasty.
