Loyalty"is explained respect and trying one's best.lt is the reflection of certain social conformation in ideology and language.lt embodys the responsibility and moral action to somebody else and society. "Loyalty"was developing with the change of society.In Spring and Autumn and Warring States period, "loyalty" began to be used in political field. "Zhu Zi Bai Jia" took it as a flag to declare their thoughts.In "Zuo Zhuan" ,at first in that time,Loyalty was uesed as a fair political competive principle.The second was used as the principle of lower to higher caste. In Warring States,the appearance of "loyal minister"showed nobleness and lowliness obviously.But in this period,many leuds were in the stage of warring,the loyalty was relative because of the existance of many emperors.After the emperor Qin consolidated China,the conception of loyalty was popular and had new content.lt began to be firmed and normative.Being loyal to the emperor was the obligation and responsibility of the minister.This conception was further improved from thought and theory. The appearance of many loyal ministers made the dynasty lasted longer.In Donghan Dynasty,the relative of the emperor and the eunuch controlled the regime long time,however,the Dynasty lasted more thirty years because the loyal ministers'struggle.The Han Dynasty selected their officials by conscription .It made the intimate relations between recommender and nominee.These phenomena commonly existed in Han Dynasty,especially in Donghan Dynasty.So being loyal to the emperor included other content.lt played an important role duringthe bloom of the Dynasty,but at the end of the Dynasty it would tend to subvert.At the later of Donghan Dynasty,loyal ministers tried their best to retrieve the Dynasty,even at the cost of their lives.It had great relation with the conception of loyalty. But when they realized that all the endeavors were useless,they felt disappointed.at the same time,the decadency of the fatalism weakened the conception of the loyalty.At last,the conception of the loyalty in the scholar_bureaucrs'hearts tended to decline, they turned to be loyal to the new emperor or paid attention to their incenters.They waited the coming of the new dynasty in silence.
