Analysis Of The Impact Of The Knight Literature On Later Literature

Chivalric Literature is a major achievement of medieval secular literature. The paper attempts to make a general survey of it, and on the basis studies the influence of Chivalric Literature on later literature, especially in the Renaissance and Romanticism, which is mainly embodied in ideas themes means, and so on. Furthermore, the paper makes a detailed analysis of some masterpieces in the history of European literature. Finally the author points out that Chivalric Literature should not been regarded as a negligible weed, but a beautiful flower in the garden of world literature; and wishes to attract specialists' interest so as to make joint efforts to deepen the study.
