This article is about the origin of Bronze Mirror, and make use of the research methods of archeology and cultural relic's appraisal to classify the Han Mirror. According to large numbers of archaeological literature and picture information, the article shows the cultural meaning of Han Mirror by the beginning of veins. In general, it makes a comprehensive and systemic dissertation comparatively.The article has been divided three sections to discuss Bronze Mirror's origin, the manufacture, the classification of veins and cultural meaning. In the first section, it simply describes Bronze Mirror's origin and manufacture technics , and introduces the names of Bronze Mirror's different parts as well as the different stages of its veins.The second section classifies the Han Mirror's veins on the basis of previous harvest. The first sort is animal and plant mirror such as Dragon-tiger Mirrors and Grass-biade Mirrors, and so on. The second is GUUU mirror and nebula mirror. The third is posy mirror such as "JIAN RI ZHI GUANG, CHANG XIANG WANG" Mirror, "JIAN RI ZHI GUANG, TIAN XIA DA MING" Mirror, and so on. The fourth is Immortal and spirit animal mirror such as "Spirit Animal Mirror and Immortal Figure Mirror", and so on. The fifth is the other sorts of veins mirrors.The third section discusses the cultural meaning of the Han Mirror. It mainly introduces fairy stories about the Han Mirror, such as Queen Westthe symbol of immortal. Still there are dragon-tiger veins, and four-spirit and the amalgamation of human and god Special Animal and Bird veins mirror. Moreover, there is the GUIJU mirror which represents the advanced astronomy technology in Han Dynasty. This rich and colorful Bronze Mirror veins bear the popular fairy tales in Han Dynasty, and reflect the idea of people who lived in that time hoped to live immortally.
