The characters combination pattern of the three great works of our ancient china, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margins, the group journeying to the West and .all follows the principle of "Master weak and follower strong". Liu Bei, the leader of Shu-Han group, Song Jiang, the organizer Water Margins heroes and even Tang Monk, the leaders of for the sutra are all weak, which forms a bright contrast contradictory entity of "Boss weak and follower strong" with the heroes under their leadership.Now that Liu Bei, Song Jiang and Tang Monk are all very incompetent, why, then, the authors of the three works all made them the leaders of the groups? This three people are respectively the group leaders, why the author portrayed them incompetent, but the followers around them incomparably strong? Why did the author want to use this way to settle the relations of "master" and "follower"? How do we understand the "weak" of the "master" and the "strong" of the "follower"With the consideration of the various questions above, this article mainly studies and discusses from the following aspects: the expression of the "Master weak and follower strong" pattern, the function of "worship virtue" in our ancient cultural tradition, the macro stipulation of the primitive source material and the historical literature and the effect of the authors' contradictory creation psychology.
