Oscar Wilde's two fairy tales including 'The Happy Prince and Other Tales' and 'A House of Pomegranates' are considered as the model which represent his aestheticism with beautiful form for a long time. But there are a lot of controversy and query about if it is contributed to the art of fairy tale and if it is accepted by children. This article is a research about the current situation which is directed against this aestheticism fairy tale of Wilde. It will try launching to describe his fairy tales from four aspects of role, magic, narrating and finale, which subvert Grimm's fairy tale as representatives of traditional fairy tale. In order to affirm that Wilde's aestheticism fairy tale is contributed to the art of fairy tale and the Children's literature.The central aspect of this article is composed of four parts altogether. They are launched with close reading and comparative analysis mainly.The first part: Wilde's aestheticism fairy tale subverts the abstractness of traditional fairy tale, representing the image and poetry of its fairy tale. It who subverts that traditional fairy tale is functional, transmits the author's aesthetic conception of love. The second part: Wilde's aestheticism fairy tale subverts the effect of the magic in the traditional fairy tale. It judges fairy tale to link to the actual life with the fairy tale. The third part: Wilde's aestheticism fairy tale subverts the traditional narrating and display the subject meaning of its fairy tale and the glamour of its language. The four part: Wilde's aestheticism fairy tale subverts the satisfaction of the finale to leave readers shock and implied meaning. It created another kind of imagination of the fairy tale.
