"the Book Of Rites," Zheng Note Exegetical Study

This paper includes a preface and three chapters.Preface. I presented the cause and the sense of choosing the question for deliberately research. I made clear the researching purpose, the researching contents , the researching methods, the focal point, the difficult point and the breakthrough point.Chapter I . 1 summed up the collating contents in Zheng Xuan' s notes to the Book of Rites and analyzed the collating methods in Zheng Xuan' s notes.Chapter II . 1 concluded the ordinances, the patterns and the technical terms in Zheng Xuan' s notes to the Book of Rites.Chapter III. 1 brought to light Zheng Xuan' s notion to Chinese characters, analyzed the methods of utilizing the dialect to collate and make explanatory notes, elaborated the methods of discriminating synonym clarified the grammatical notion in Zheng Xuan' s notes and revealed the sense to rhetoric in Zheng Xuan' s notes.
