Since the eighties of the 20th century, it has ever successively presented 'fever for Wang Shuo' three times in the Chinese literary world, which indicates Wang Shuo is worth being studied and paid attention to. Wang Shuo and his works are a 'unique existence' in Chinese contemporary literature history. The thesis choose this 'unique existence' as target of describing, so as to examine the writer's uniqueness, analyze the social base that produces this unique phenomenon, and then explain the value mat it exists and impact on China's contemporary literature history development.The first part analyses Wang Shuo's cultural proletarian's essence and the purpose and background of 'revolution'. Wang Shuo enters literary world with the high school educational level, is known as the cultural proletarian because of deficiency of its artistic appreciation. As a cultural proletarian, he enters literary world with strong utility purpose. He wants to earn fame and gain for himself through unique literary creation, and then change his 'personal destiny', this is known as 'revolution', namely 'change destiny'. With the turning from political struggle to economic construction of China's society, literature and writers have been marginalized. The cultural proletarian can just enter literary world under such a background to realize 'revolution' purpose.The second part analyses the means that the cultural proletarian realize the 'revolution' from the characteristic of Wang Shuo's creation. Cultural proletarian who want to make achievement and reach final purpose must has his own unique literary works that can be able to be accepted by readers. Wang Shuo' creation has his own uniqueness on such aspects as subject matter choice, words of narrating, and personage image. The diversification of the subject matter, subject, flexible application of irony, and marginalized personage image compose Wang Shuo's characteristic work. He has one seat in literary world just because his uniqueness. So, the uniqueness of his literary works becomes Wang Shuo's effective means to march into the literary world and realize the cultural proletarian's 'revolution'.The third part explain the meaning and value of cultural proletarian's 'revolution',also the thinking that he brings. Cultural proletarian 'revolution' is successful at a certain meaning, it achieve final individual 'revolution' purpose, which has met Wang Shuo's pursuit on fame and gain, produced objective literature history value, promoted and accelerated the process commercialized in contemporary literature. However, cultural 'revolution' of proletarian slips to lose because one's own deficiency of artistic appreciation and change of new era .The slipping lies in no continuous creation and commenting carelessly the famous person to utility propagandize. The cultural proletarian's 'revolution' is a culture phenomenon of specific period of contemporary literary world. The cultural shock brought by this phenomenon is enough to cause us think some issues of contemporary literature develop.
