| Honesty is a virtue. However, lying is a prelude to dishonesty and a disagreeable character. It is specific pointed in the moral education of the kindergarten that a teacher should tell his students what's honesty and what's dishonesty. The honesty education concerns all children's lives. With regard to relation children's moral cognition of lying and actual behavior, previous studies were few. In order to enrich study about this aspect, the paper did his best to connect children's moral cognition of lying and actual behavior by means of spot experiments. The current study not only examined foregone conclusions but also observed children's actual behavior.The present research consisted of three experiments. The first experiment investigated 3, 4, 5-year-old children's concept and moral evaluation of lying/truth—telling. Children were told small stories and were asked to determine whether the characters lied and to make moral judgments on their statements. By this, the researcher obtained children's moral cognition of lying. The second experiment set a temptation resistance situation to observe children's actual behavior. In this situation, perhaps children could violate game rules in order to achieve prizes. They might lie to conceal their faults. The lying situation was similar to scenes in family. The third experiment was based on experiment one, two and interviews. The researcher visited many children's parents and teachers before experiments. It was knew that children's parents and teachers could use many speeches to induct children to tell truth when faults happened to children. The researcher classified the introductory speeches into the positive speech and the negative speech. The third experiment added the introductory speech as a variable to explore the effect of introductory speeches.The main findings from the present study were as follows:1.
