Schopenhauer Ethics Thought

Arthur Schopenhauer( 1788-1860) was, as a philosopher, a pessimist, founded the modern west philosophy of first river with his voluntarism. But its theories target and the center link are ethics of his pessimism ethics, namely concerning born will pain and sufferings of theories. In the ideology of Schopenhauer, the philosophy no longer pays attention to construct or purchase with the principle of the scientific knowledge. From will to desire, from desire to disillusionment, from disillusionment to agony and nihilitv. forms the main lines of his pessimistic ethics philosophy.In Schopenhauer's opinion, the egoism is a starting point and his compassionateness ethics is to outspread, the tallest bourn is the mysterious doctrine of abstinency. In this integral system, the core is pain and sufferings, boring life essence, but to the life will of negation is then the inevitable conclusion. But everybody's existence will caused selfish tendency. So though declared not to provide one any morals standard ,but actually, Schopenhauer thought to see a person whether morals, mainly judge the basis is to see he can inhibit the life will, sacrificing the oneself, help others. Such person is a moral person. He is a supporter to the life will of negative, he think that this is just miracle drug that saves a life time. Take a wide view the whole ethics system of Schopenhauer, although take pessimism doctrine as precondition, the honesty, loyalty .tolerant, geniality, charity, classic and self-restraint morals that he promote, great harmony thoughts still have the widespread and ethical meaning today.
