The Suffering Consciousness Of Mo Yan's Novels

The writer named Moyan has lasting and vigorous creativity and unconstrained artistic style, whose work has offered the wide space for commentators to explain. This thesis mainly analyses Moyan's novels from the angle of " suffering consciousness " .The so-called " suffering consciousness " should include two aspects : The first is the cognition of the suffering; the second is the attitude towards the suffering. This thesis just analyses MoYan's creation from these two aspects. The former part: Expound the novels'explanation of the suffering, including four parts: First, analyze such sufferings of rural life as the hard work , the shortage of material and the despised life; Second, analyze the disaster which the depression under the culture man-right and the female physiological characteristic bring to the women. Third, analyze the agony of losing home that the cruel reality and detached humanity bring; Fourth, analyze the writer's explanation to the ethnic disaster --Grief of the race depredating. These four respects have expressed writer's understanding to life: the agony is the life's basic meaning. The latter part: Expound the surmounting to the suffering in the Moyan's novels. This part analyses that three ways of surmounting the suffering in the novels: First, desalinizing the suffering in tender feelings; second, alleviating the suffering in admitting; third, surmounting the suffering in resistance. Suffering consciousness is an important category of Mayan's novels, in which surmounting suffering adds a lot to his novel's abundance and depth, which is the origin of the novels'eternal artistic expansion.
