Zhang Shan Han Dynasty Two Precepts

Law & Decrees of Two Years of Zhang Jiashan bamboo strips are the important historical materials in the law system researching of early Han Dynasty. During the studying I found there were something wrong with the interpunction notation and other aspects ,which is the first problem I want to solve in my thesis.The Penal Sum and the Atonement is the important penalty in the history of Chinese ancient legal systems . They both based on the economic sanctions to criminal offences,which are a kind of property penalty. Because of the lack of historical data about this filed, the Penal Sum and the Atonement of the Qin and Han Dynasty were not sufficiently researched, which is the great regret to the law history of the Qin and Han Dynasty even to the whole research of ancient law history . The thesis is intend to discuss something about the two penalties on the basis of Zhang Jiashan bamboo strips and other materials such as 《Shiji》 《Hanshu》 《Jinshu Xingfazhi》The thesis is trying to study the problems of the scope, the principle , the difference and similar of the Penal Sum and the Atonement in three parts, in order to recover these two kinds of penalties original appearance and its important position in the law history.The third part is an appendix ,which is an index for the Law & Decrees of Two Years of Zhang Jiashan bamboo strips.
