Law, morals(morality) and religion ,are three factors of the social superstructure. The three factors' characteristic draw from the particular social construction .The relation of the threes is complex. This thesis regards law as the center and discusses the relation of the three, try hard to answer the question: how to realize the law's validity? The history of Western Europe in Middle Ages shows the close relation of law and religion; The history of Chinese ancient society shows the intimate relation of morals(morality) and law. From the comparision bf the two pictures, we can see the function of morals(morality) or religion to the validity of law. So, what's the relation of law and morals(morality)and what's the relation of law and religion?Comparing the law in the Western society with the law in the Chinese society, my conclusion is: after all, law as the norm which adjusting people's behavior, its validity demands people's heartly accept and respect. But the system of law itself ,including the sign of" justice", can't arouse people's faith. The validity of law needs the combination with the social standard of value. The combination of law and moral(morality) is inevitable.In the other side, religion is the important source of the moral's content. Religion and morals(morality) have close relationship too. The combination of law and morals(morality) can from two ways: by the intermedium or without the medium.In the history of Wesrern Europe in middle ages, we can see the important function of religion to the law's validity. The close relationship is one kind of the combination of law and morals(morality),in this kind ,the religion is intermedium. At the same time ,religion also give the Western law other values besides moral standard.This thesis studies the way of combination of law and morals(morality). Comparing the two ways in the Western Europe and in the Chinese ancient times ,the thesis discussed that what's the best combination of law and morals(morality).The article is divided into five...
