Lu Yao's works, which are simple, unadorned and sincere, combines his profound understanding of life and inertia of traditional culture with changes of the times and society. The study of Lu Yao' s collected work helps disclosing the cultural and ideological connotation which the works meant to convey, i.e. the deep concern to rural life and farmers' fate, profound tapping of the spirit of the Chinese nation, exploration of the of life and realistic magnificance of the work itself.
