"Qinglou" is a special Chinese cultural phenomenon. It has brooded filth and crime. However, at the same time, it has produced prostitutes with super beauty and artistic abilities in the contrary of those who play in royal court and the bandwagon, has been the elites diffusing the special culture canorously.The Ming dynasty was a period of time that sow the thrival of folk music, kunqu opera,popular tones,and romance plays-whose consumations were all achieved with the prasperity of "qinglou".This article is based on studies of the "qing lou"in the Ming Dynasty Nanking. It will describe and investigate the historical phenomenon in the angle of history, musicology, sociology and promulgating. And this disquisition will also fully exhibit the visage of the "Qinglou" culture as long as the significance of the prostitutes through the investigation of the literary history, chorography and the intermezzo datum. The prostitutes, as the important musical performance colony, who have the reduplicative status of beneficiary and disseminator, have devised a great contribution to the music development in the Ming dynasty. This article is In the point of view of humanity science and the contribution to the Chinese music culture, that the academia should attach the importance to the research on the "Qinglou" music culture.
