However, pop music was introduced simultaneously by western arrivals into such prosperous city of the time as Shanghai, Beiping, Tianjin and Wuhan so on, and its has formed the certain scale in the metropolis. Basing on music history angle place, the article collated the development of pop music and its survival medium as movie, broadcast as well as song and dance hall through which the pop music spreaded in Wuhan from the 1930s to the 1940s, and analysed evolutional characteristic of early time pop music of Wuhan. Also, the social proportion of early time pop music in modern cities of our country and its development pattern was observed on the basis of Wuhan.
