Margaret Drabble, who is called "women's novelist" for her attention to women's problems, is an excellent female novelist in the contemporary English literary world. She has recorded the conflicting sensibilities of the newly liberated, intellectual women in the course of their seeking their identity and place in the patriarchal world and expressed her sincere compliments on and great sympathy with them in her writing.First, this paper briefly reviews and summarizes the history of Drabble's literary creation and the study on Drabble in abroad and inner China, and puts forward my point of view (on her feminist writing). The second chapter studies Margaret Drabble's works from the angle of feminist criticism. From the study of the text and social historical backgrounds, it shows Drabble's insisting exploration on the theme of women's identities and her attitudes towards women. Based on the analysis of the image of her texts, the third chapter studies the skills of Drabble's literary creation, and reveals these skills have important interaction to her attitudes towards women.
