Electronic Music, The Theme Of The Two-state Structure And Its Penetration In The Works

This thesis collects the electronic music works whose theme is provided with bi-modality as examples. In the first part, this thesis explains what is"modality"and the"structure of modality". Moreover it analyzes the specific modality of bi-modality construction in different works and the effects of bi- modality in the music development. It concludes the developing way in the bi-modality construction in the theme, and how to apply these methods synthetically. The conclusion shows the mutual relationship between the bi-modality construction of the theme and the influences towards the whole construction of music. Accordingly, it discusses how the electronic music works whose themes are provided with bi-modality penetrate through the whole music. Thus it can be seen, when we use music materials to create works, the significance of the music theme influences the development of the whole music, and the music construction is mapped with modality characteristic of theme. After our understanding and familiarity of the basic features and creating rules of electronic music, we can apply these in the creation of more music works.
