The issues relating to religions have a long history, and the consciousness of feminism is growing nowadays all over the world. Therefore, it is a great challenge to focus on "Islam" and "women" in the thesis. Islam is concerned about the status of women, and its ideas about women are based on Koran, guided by Sharia Law and altered in practice. This thesis discusses the relationship between Muslims' families and women, and takes Xinjiang's female Muslims as an example, analyzing their culture, tradition and historical development. Thus it demonstrates the status of female Muslims in their families influenced by the rising of Islam, and on this background it analyses the females' marriage and family life of Xinjiang's minor nationality. The construction of this thesis is simple, only four parts.Part one simply discusses the ideas of female Muslims' family influenced by Islam before and after its rising, and the importance of family at the beginning of Islam. There are two aspects. One is the situation and status of women in the uncivilized times, the other is the improvement of women after the rising of Islam.Part two focuses on the influence on Xinjiang's female Muslims by Islamic culture. Islam in Xinjiang has its own characteristic, that is, it not only follows the divine instructions combined with the situation of China but presents the minor national characteristic of Xinjiang. In detail the author discusses the family ethic affected by Islam, the difference and particularity of Xinjiang's female Muslims compared with the ideas of women in Koran.Part three describes the development of Islamic culture in modern times and its influence on modern females in Xinjiang, and the existing problems and future development.Part four is the conclusion of the whole thesis.
